The rules are simple! When someone makes a Roleplay, they are called a Role Master, Game Master, or Nerd. I prefer the term GM(Game Master). A GM, in their first post, states the general plot, rules(The rules will be more in depth than the ToS(Terms of Service)), how one becomes apart of the Roleplay(The method is their choice), and anything else that needs to be stated. A GM runs their thread, and Moderators will not intervene unless contacted by the GM. Remember, however, that if you're cybering, the GM, and all people involved get PERMA-BANNED!
Roleplaying is turn based. One person states their character's actions, then another character replies to this. Experienced roleplayers are capable of taking turns, but writing so that things within the roleplay happen simultaneously. I'm lazy, so no examples will be given.
A Roleplay can take place in any setting, and can follow any set of rules. Some roleplays have it so all the characters can leap twenty feet in the air. I don't know why, but they do.
In the end, roleplaying is just a way to release your creative and adventurous side. To be aggressive, and to pretend that you're not a pitiful nerd...
I'm not a pitiful nerd... I mean it... I AIN'!
